Last week the seniors participated in the healthy
eating programme, ‘Food for Thought.’
We had a nutritionist, Nova, come in and teach us about
the food pyrimad and we looked at the labels on food and learnt how to read
them.
On Wednesday we visited the supermarket and completed a
range of activities based around different food groups and the healthiness of
them.
It was great fun and we learnt how to make healthier
options with our eating.
