Read-a-Thon

On Friday it was the last day of our Read-a-Thon so Bledisloe School had a dress-up day. 

You had to dress up as your favourite book character, or a goodie or a baddie.

Don't we look awesome!

Also on Friday we did some art based on the book 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' By Eric Carle.


First we dyed tissue paper, then drew our caterpillar on tracing paper. Next we had to cut out each segment, putting the tracing paper over the tissue paper and carefully cutting both layers. We then carefully glued them onto the page.
